Terms of service

TOKYO WEB, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") sets forth these Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") regarding the conditions of use for the online shop provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"). Users shall use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

Article 1 (Application)

  1. These Terms shall apply to all relationships between users and the Company regarding the use of the Service.
  2. In addition to these Terms, the Company may establish various rules for use (hereinafter referred to as "Individual Regulations"). Regardless of their name, these Individual Regulations shall form part of these Terms.
  3. If the provisions of these Terms conflict with those of the Individual Regulations, the provisions of the Individual Regulations shall prevail, unless otherwise specified.

Article 2 (User Registration)

  1. When purchasing products through the Service, a user account may be automatically created as necessary (hereinafter referred to as "Member Registration"). A registered user (hereinafter referred to as "Registered Member") can conveniently use the Service in subsequent purchases by using their account information.
  2. Users may also purchase products without registration (hereinafter referred to as "Guest Purchase"). These Terms shall also apply to Guest Purchases. However, Guest Purchases cannot access purchase history or member-only benefits.
  3. The Company reserves the right to deactivate or restrict a Registered Member’s account without disclosing the reason if any of the following applies:
    1. False information was provided during registration
    2. The user violates these Terms or any relevant laws or regulations
    3. The Company deems the registration inappropriate for any other reason
  4. Registered Members may request to delete (withdraw) their account following the procedures specified by the Company. After withdrawal, member-exclusive services will no longer be available; however, rights and obligations related to transactions made before withdrawal shall remain in effect.

Article 3 (Management of Member and Login Information)

  1. Registered Members shall manage their member information used in the Service under their own responsibility.
  2. Registered Members shall not transfer, lend, or share their member information with third parties under any circumstances. Login to the Service is performed via a one-time authentication code sent to the registered email address. When logged in using the one-time code, it is deemed that the registered member has used the Service.
  3. The Company shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use of the registered email address or one-time code by third parties, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.

Article 4 (Sales Contract)

  1. A purchase contract shall be established when a user applies to purchase a product from the Company, and the Company notifies the user of acceptance of the application. Ownership of the product shall transfer to the user at the time the product is handed over to the delivery carrier.
  2. Payments for products shall be made only by the methods approved by the Company, including credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express), bank transfer, or other methods separately permitted by the Company.
  3. For credit card payments, users shall comply with the terms of their agreement with their credit card company.
  4. The Service uses payment processing services provided by third-party payment processors. The Company shall not be liable for any damages caused to users due to system errors, unauthorized access, or other issues attributable to the payment processor.
  5. The Company may cancel a sales contract without prior notice to the user if any of the following applies:
    1. The user violates these Terms
    2. The product cannot be delivered due to an unknown address or long absence
    3. The Company determines that the relationship of trust between the user and the Company has been damaged

Article 5 (Product Delivery)

  1. The Company will deliver purchased products to the address designated by the user via a carrier designated by the Company.
  2. For domestic deliveries, orders are usually shipped within 3 to 5 days from the order date.However, delivery may be delayed due to stock availability, delivery area, weather conditions, or traffic circumstances.
  3. Please note that international delivery times vary depending on the destination country and customs procedures.Therefore, we are unable to guarantee an exact delivery date for overseas shipments.Any customs duties, taxes, or handling fees incurred at the destination will be the responsibility of the customer.
  4. If the user cannot receive the product due to long absence or refusal of acceptance, the Company may store the product and charge storage fees.
  5. If the user registers an incorrect delivery address or requests a change after placing the order, the user must promptly contact the Company and follow its instructions. The Company shall not be liable for any misdelivery due to user error.

Article 6 (Intellectual Property Rights)

The copyrights and other intellectual property rights of product photos and other content provided through the Service (hereinafter referred to as "Content") belong to the Company or legitimate right holders such as content providers. Users shall not reproduce, reprint, modify, or otherwise use such Content without authorization.

Article 7 (Prohibited Acts)

Users shall not engage in the following acts when using the Service:

  1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
  2. Acts related to criminal activity
  3. Acts that infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights included in the Service
  4. Acts that destroy or interfere with the functioning of the Company’s servers or networks
  5. Commercial use of information obtained through the Service
  6. Acts that may interfere with the smooth operation of the Service
  7. Unauthorized access or attempts thereof
  8. Collection or storage of personal information of other users
  9. Impersonating another user
  10. Providing benefits directly or indirectly to antisocial forces in connection with the Service
  11. Other acts deemed inappropriate by the Company

Article 8 (Suspension of the Service)
